Babis Hotel - Skiathos Town

The climb to the place seemed like training for Mount Everest-who knew a holiday could be so strenuous? Thankfully, the views were worth the sweat!

Babis pick us up & dropped us off at the airport & ferry terminal. Both Babis & his wife, Yiota, were very friendly & welcoming. They gave us directions to restaurants & sites of interest. We enjoyed our complimentary wine on the roof top terrace overlooking the beautiful harbour. Bottled water was provided free in our room mini frig. Our room was very clean. We would highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing that we disliked.

Fairly clean hotel, services were great and location was marvellous near the bus stop. The personnel was very welcoming and pleasant, and the host too. Our studio was exceptional, with an exceptionally comfortable bed...

Fantastic rooftop terrace views every evening.

The room was compact and spacious with a view, I was happy about that. There were a fridge, an oven and kitchenware too. The location was great, metres from old town. This hotel was in a good area.

A combination of hits and misses

The complimentary airport pick-up and the excellent views from the roof terrace were certainly highlights of my stay. The warmth and helpfulness of the hosts amplified the cute atmosphere.

Reaching the hotel involved navigating steep steps, which could pose a challenge, especially in the heat. This might be inconvenient for those with mobility issues.

Hospitality, thanks to Yiota and Babis. Their kindness during my arrival was evident with the complimentary airport shuttle. The sea view from my room was fine. There are several nearby restaurants. Although the road to the hotel was steep, it didn't overshadow the overall experience.

I thought I was staying at a hotel, not a climbing gym! The shower flooded the entire bathroom, which woudl ve been a disaster if I actually used it. Can you believe they provided a kettle smaller than my teacup? I was really hoping for an upgrade to make up for the inconveniences, but apparently, that's too much to ask.

The rooftop terrace views were fine, and the location made it easy to explore nearby tavernas and the harbor. Babis and Yiota were helpful, providing airport transfers. Don't miss the short walk to the seafront!

The room size was a bit on the small side for our group, a bit cramped at times.

the steps leading up are quite tiring. yet the views from the roof terrace are breathtaking. the owner picked us up from the harbor, and the room upgrade was a lovely surprise. super friendly staff made our stay memorable.

Never had a better trip before. Every member of staff was welcoming. 3. the whole room was fairly quiet and exceptional. 4. Free water and good facilities were provided.

The staff here were super friendly and helpful, giving us all the info we needed 🌟. the location is awesome, not too far from Papadiamantis' House, which was really convenient.
